Mr. Carl L. Philpott, Sr., age 72 of Celina, TN passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Celina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Celina, TN surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was born Wednesday, January 12, 1944 in Clay County, TN to the late Clifton “Big” Page, Sr. and Esterlene Philpott. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son Gary Philpott, 1 infant daughter, Vicky Hill, 3 brothers, Clifton “Sambo” Page, Jr., Chester Page and Gary “Ebo” Page, and 3 sisters, Carolyn Bailey, Faye Page and Gail Page. Carl was united in marriage with Wilma (Johnson) Philpott on October 5, 1990. Throughout his life he served in many roles. Carl was a husband, father, brother and friend to many. He was Plumber and a barber for most of his adult career. Carl was a member of the Free Hills Church of Christ.

Carl is survived by his Wife, Wilma Philpott of Celina, TN; 2 Sons, Carl Philpott, Jr. of Celina, TN, Sammy Tooley of Tompkinsville, Ky and 1 Step-Son, Ryan Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; 3 Daughters, Ashley Page of Celina, TN, Elana Sircy of Lafayette, TN and Lanessa Page of Celina, TN; 4 Brothers, Jimmy Philpott of Celina, TN, Ollie Page of Celina,TN, Tony Page of Nashville, TN and Jamie (Deno) Page of Nashville, TN; 3 Sisters, Melanie Kirk of Celina, TN, Elvena House of Celina, Tn and Charlene Page of Nashville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Nikki, Kyla, Kyeshia and Jermey and 3 great-grandchildren, Melissa, Nathan and Bentley; Several nieces and nephews as well as a special step-son and friend, Ryan Johnson and 2 special granddaughters, Nikki Huntley and Alexis Page also mourn his passing.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
