Mr. Harold Gene Wix age 77 of Celina, TN passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Larry Brown will officiate and interment will follow in the Fitzgerald Cemetery. Visitation will be at Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from, 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Harold is survived by his wife, Rachel Jeanette Wix of Celina, TN; 3 Sons, Harold Wix, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Celina, TN, Martin Christopher Wix and fiance’, Melanie of Celina, TN; Richard Wix and wife, Leslie of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 1 daughter, Teresa Meador and husband, Bruce of Hermitage Springs, TN; 4 brothers, Fred Wix and wife, Pat of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jerry Wix and wife, Judy of Westmoreland, TN, David Wix and wife, Nancy of Lafayette, TN, and Maxie Wix and wife, Pat of Florida; 4 sisters, Shirley Carter and husband, Ray Dean of Murfreesboro, TN, Barbara Smith and husband, Ronald of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Melba Carter and companion, Lynn of Trousdale County, TN, and Peggy Fannin of Nashville, TN.; 9 grandchildren, Danny Meador, Darrell Meador, Dustin Wix, Haley Barnes, Danielle Wix, Tyler Wix, Weston Browning, Austin Browning and Kara Wix; 16 great-grandchildren, Danny Meador, Jr., Brittney Meador, Dalston Meador, Breeley Meador, Braisy Meador, Jaylynn Morris, Illa Morris, Eli Morris, Emma Meador, Brooklyn Meador, Eli Meador, Levi Meador, Lacey Brooke Wix, Emma Grace Wix, Aiden Grant Wix, and Carter Gene Wix. 1 great-greatgrandchild, Jerek Meador and a host of friends also survive.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Fitzgerald Cemetery.
