My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one.The sting of death is very painful. But when you throw all your pain on God ( Psalm 83:18), He will comfort you and carry that pain for you.
So draw close to God in prayer and He will draw close to you in return.( James 4:8)

I'm sorry to have not been able to attend the service today of my neighbor and co-worker. Gene served our schools and students for longer than I can remember. It seems that the lives of his family and my family were destined to always be intertwined. When I was a child, the Boles family were neighbors to my grandparents. Who knew that when my grandparents moved after a house fire it would be right across the street from Gene and Elleen? And who could have known that they would later be my own neighbors when I lived in my grandparents' home? He never said it to me, but I know from a family member that Gene watched out for me when we were neighbors. I so much appreciate that. I count it a privilege to have taught his grandchildren who all remind me much of him in one way or another. May God bless your family.

Thank you ms. White . He loved his job at the school so much, and he also always enjoyed you as a neighbor! They always would say they missed you after you had moved.

My sympathy to the family. Eugene was a very caring and humble person. He was always kind and helped me have a safe and well equipped classroom when I taught at K-8. He never hid from a request for help. He often had to figure out how to honor my request, such as how to run an electrical outlet on a block wall, so I could set up computers back when we got to have one computer in our classroom! Needless to say he always came up with the solution to the problem. I loved his smile and kind words Thank you all for sharing him with us, he will be missed by many.
