It was with a very sad heart that I saw where Sonny went to his eternal reward. I just know that Larry was one of the first people that greeted him went he went through the pearly gates. What a reunion that must have been. Sonny & Carolyn were two of the first people that we met when we moved to Pinellas Park in 1979 to pastor their church. We became wonderful friends the day we met & remained very close throughout the years. My love & prayers will remain always with Carolyn & this wonderful family.

Sonny and Carolyn were the first people we met at Pinellas Park Wesleyan Church in 1978. We had many outings together over the years. He was an avid sports fan always attending his son Donnie's and grandchildren's ball games. If you didn't like Sonny, your wood was wet. Thank you Carolyn for taking such good care of him over the past few years when his health was failing. We love you guys and Sonny, rest in peace.

We will always miss you Sonny. You were always quick to smile and give a warm greeting, even when your memory was not as sharp. Can't wait to see you again in Heaven. Save us a seat on your pew.

How fortunate we are to have our parents for so many years; to get to know them as grandparents and great grandparents. I believe it's only then - when we are parents ourselves - that we can fully appreciate how much we were loved. That love is what we miss most; that which was clearly present in Sonny along with such a sweet spirit. May he rest in peace, knowing he built a legacy of love for his family. Tammy -Steve and I share your grief along with all your children and grandchildren.

We have so many fun memories of the Cheesebrew family when they lived in Dunbar. I was so glad to reconnect on facebook and see the same loving family I remembered as a child. Prayers will be lifted in the days to come. God will get you through this time, cling to Him and one another.

A THE COLOR OF MEMORIES TABLE ARRANGEMENT was ordered on October 21, 2016

Sonny, it is with a sadden heart that we send this note. You was the big brother I didn't have. You took me to my first ball game and my mother once threatened to send my clothes with me when I was coming up to visit you and Carolyn. You always filled the room with laughter and never met a stranger. But I think our fun filled days was fishing and laughing at our rooky mistakes. However, once we mastered fishing we was great on both fresh and salt water. You will be so sadly missed my dear friend and a part of my heart left with you. Find us a good fishing hole and hopefully we will reunite one day.

With our deepest sympathy to the entire family,
Love always Bill and Jackie Connolly

We're so sorry for your loss. I will always have very fond memories of Sonny and to this day he is still the best barber I ever had. Even though I have not been a very good nephew or cousin in this life I can tell you that I have always loved him and all the rest of the Cheesebrew clan. I know Sonny was not in good health towards the end and I just hope that he is at peace now. Please accept our condolences...
