Last night we had our 50th high school reunion. Though Tony had moved to Granville NY by the time we graduated, so many of us have fond memories of our red-haired, piano-playing classmate. I remember him gliding so smoothly around the West Side skating rink, with his hands behind his back and his long ski cap streaming behind. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great friend in our younger years.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts. Tony made an impact on anyone who was fortunate to have known him. Being a physician/surgeon was a calling for him because of the love and care he so freely shared with those around him. He was demonstrative and I have been told again and again what a wonderful "hugger" he was, always generous with a hug whether you were arriving or going. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. He always said that the primary job of a spouse is to get the other one to Heaven, and the example he exhibited in our home and at work was a testament to his faith. As accomplished as he was, he was down on his knees every night expressing his gratitude and commitment to putting God at the center of his life. He definitely was the spiritual leader of our home and the example he gave by bringing his mother to our home 7 years before she passed was an inspiration to our children and grandchildren. Thank you again for your kind expression of the memories you had of Tony and God bless you and your family as well! I will see my beautiful husband again one day, I know it! Now I just have to be patient...

Dr. Dalton was a wonderful, kind, and caring man who I will miss greatly. The world will be dimmer without his joyful heart and soul lighting the way for all the people that was blessed to know him. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dixie, sweet Dixie...
I didn't know that Tony was posted on the funeral website for condolences, etc., but appreciated so much what you wrote. I am just now seeing it today, however, and apologize for the delay in responding. We all had a lot of fun together and he was always so entertained by you... who isn't? Thanks again sweetie for the kind thoughts!
