Obituary
Samuel Brook Smith came into this world fighting on March 20, 2018, and left on August 9, 2023, after a brave battle with Tay Sachs Disease surrounded by his family and in the arms of his momma and daddy. He was a beautiful baby and so big, and a little furry, that we called him Samsquatch. He loved being read to by his daddy every morning and sleeping cuddled to his momma every night. He hated bath time with a passion and loved being tickled until he gave himself the hiccups. The last four years he fought hard to stay with his family after a devastating diagnosis, but his body was tired, and he was ready to rest.
He leaves behind his father and mother, Jeremiah and Kristen Smith, siblings Colby and Claire Smith, grandparents Peggy Davidson and Michael Spears, and endless aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Lex Smith and Anita Spears, and Aunt Ashley Herrera.
