Ruby Irene Anderson

Mrs. Ruby Irene Anderson, age 100, of Whitleyville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of The Upton-Hay Funeral Home, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., with Nathan Sherrell officiating and interment to follow in the Anderson Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday February 26, 2021from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She is survived by 3 sons, John (Debbie) Anderson, Thomas (Sandra) Anderson, and Winston (Alice) Anderson; 1 daughter Illona Leeper; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 10 great- great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.

The family ask that all visitors wear mask while at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Anderson Cherry Cemetery fund or Wounded Warrior Project.

Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice.

Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.
