Lucille Stellingwerf

Lucille Waddell Bowe Stellingwerf, 95, of Celina, TN passed away on Monday, February 1,2021. She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Jesse Cornell Bowe, Sr. (1980) and her second husband, Don Stellingwerf (2007); her parents, Willie and Lizzie Waddell.

Lucille was lovingly known by her family as Nana. She will be remembered by her children Jeanna Boulware (George), Jesse Bowe (Sherry), Jennifer Cummins, 7 grandchildren: Brandy Whitehead (Darren), Rachel Aholt (Joe), Sarah Hackett, Chris Boulware (Erin), Cory Bowe (Courtney), Hunter Cummins, Emily Cummins and 8 great grandchildren. She also was loved by a special friend, Kelly Copley.

Lucille loved her family more than anything in this world. The only thing she loved more was God. She was happiest when she was around her family, laughing and carrying on. She always had a stash of snickerdoodles in case of emergencies, and then of course there were the Santa Claus cookies! She enjoyed playing games and did not let her love for you get in the way of winning, well sometimes. She was a true woman of God and the most precious gift she gave her children was faith. We cannot imagine life without her but know we will see her again one day.

Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service for her family only will be held graveside on Thursday February 4, 2021 with Darren Whitehead Officiating.
