Obituary
Mr. H.G. Asberry, known to most as Sweatbee, age 80, of the Oak Grove Community, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral Home with Kenny Westmoreland officiating and interment to follow in the Jonestown Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Asberry (Pat); daughters, Debbie Walker (Randall), and Angie Thompson (David); 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Garry Asberry; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
