Obituary
Mr. Elmer Carson Killmon, age 87, formerly of the Vernon Community, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Killmon officiating and interment to follow in the Moss Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.
He is survived by his spouse, Wanda Sue Killmon; children, Jimmy Carson Killmon, Pamla Lynn Harvey, Tammy Sue Chriswell, Angela Kay Hineman, Tonja Fay Hargis, Bobby Joe Killmon, and Joy Eyvonne McGarr; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
