Douglas Ray Spivey, Jr.

Mr. Douglas Ray Spivey, Jr age 51 of Celina, TN passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.                                       

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Craig Ogletree officiating and cremation to follow.  Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Doug is survived by his wife, Pam Spivey of Celina, TN; 2 sons, Austin Spivey and Jon Spivey; 1 daughter, Kayla Spivey all of Celina, TN; mother, Helen Spivey; 1 sister, Opal Estep and husband Kenny of Celina, TN; 2 grandchildren, Nolynn Spivey and Jackson Spivey; 5 aunts, Sue Dailey, Jean Allen and husband Johnny, Joyce Strong and husband Steven, Ruby McCollom, and Dorothy Strong; 2 uncles Joe Felix Spivey and wife Nell, and Paul Kellow; special friends, Steve Bailey, Jerry Haynes, and Dwight Key as well as a host of cousins, other family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
