Brenda Lea Rich

Mrs. Brenda Lea Rich, age 74, of the Hermitage Springs Community, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Mabry Healthcare.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Upton Hay Funeral Home with Kenneth Beaty officiating and interment to follow in the Vernie Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1949, to the late Selvin and Mavis (Chitwood) Spivey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her spouse Jerry Rich; sisters, Natalie Green and Miranda Kennedy; brothers, Audie Geary Spivey, Stacey Spivey; and brother-in-law Danny Reed Moore.

She is survived by her sons, Phillip Reeves and Clark (Lesha Haggermaker) Reeves; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Triston, Liberty, Onzie Reeves, Kayla Campbell, and Donovan Wiley; great-grandchildren, Zeke Wiley and Leo Campbell; brothers, Troy, Selvin Jr., and Knute Spivey; sisters, Winona Thomas, Katrina (James) Holiman, Dainette Moore; brothers-in-law, Richard Green and Ricky Kennedy; sister-in-law, Lisa Spivey; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.
