Mr. Billy Edward Webb, age 89, of Mountain Home, AR and formerly of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Home, AR. Billy was the son of Edward and Emma Webb and was the nephew of Walter Webb from Gray John Hill.
He was born on the family farm in Pea Ridge, and as a young boy attended Pleasant Grove School. Billy married Martha Jean Wigham in 1953 and they were married for 60 years. During the Korean War, Billy served in the US Navy aboard the USS President Andrew. Jackson. After leaving the Navy, Billy became a skilled ironworker in San Diego California, where he worked on many high-rise buildings. He was an avid banjo player and fisherman.
He is survived by 3 sons, Larry and wife, Pam of Franklin, TN, Steve and wife, Kathy of San Diego, CA, and Gary and wife, Vickie of Mountain Home, AR; 5 grandchildren, Becky, Stacey, James, Danielle and Kimberlee; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jillie and Wyatt.
He is preceded in death by his wife Martha, Parents, Edward and Emma, and his Uncle Walter. On April 28, there will be a private family viewing followed by a private graveside service at the Donaldson Cemetery.
All Mandates for social distancing WILL be enforced.
Note: All gatherings of ten (10) or more should be postponed, and/or only conducted with a limit of ten (10) or less people. Graveside services should be private and conducted with ten (10) or less people. This information is subject to change per recommendation by the Federal Government and CDC. Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice. Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.
