Billy R. Stone

Mr. Billy R. Stone, age 85, of the Oak Grove Community, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Macon Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Upton Hay Funeral Home with Chris Reecer officiating and interment to follow in the Stone Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He is survived by his spouse, Shelba Stone; daughters, Cindy Cherry (Steve), Tina Perdue (Scottie); grandchildren, Brooke Cherry, Patrick Cherry, Kalisha Johnson, Kylar Lynch, Casey Perdue, Justin Perdue, and Zach Perdue; great- grandchildren, McKenley and Maleah Johnson, Tatum Webb, Aayden and Abram Cherry, Hallie Kate Perdue, Ryder and Harper Perdue; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
