Aline Wilkerson

Aline Wilkerson, age 88, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Saturday April 4, 2020. Aline was born January 23, 1932 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Lillie (Vaughn) Price and James Price. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bevely Wilkerson; daughter, Marcella Chipman; and son, Fredrick Wilkerson. She was a member of South Keystone Church of Christ as well as a dedicated mother. She liked to bowl, throw darts, and a card game or two in her spare time as well.

There will be a private family viewing followed by a drive-by viewing from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. (Drive-by viewing will not allow for getting out of your car. There will be directional signs.) The procession will leave the Upton-Hay Funeral Home for the Graveside Service being held at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilkerson Cemetery. Jessica Wilkerson-Earls will officiate. All Mandates for social distancing WILL be enforced.

Note: All gatherings of ten (10) or more should be postponed, and/or only conducted with a limit of ten (10) or less people.  Graveside services should be private and conducted with ten (10) or less people. This information is subject to change per recommendation by the Federal Government and CDC.

Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice.

Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.

Aline is survived by her sons, Elbert Wilkerson and Cedric Wilkerson (Sandra Holifield-Wilkerson); sister, Corene Smith; and grandchildren, Donald Baxter (Bonnie), Jessica Wilkerson-Earls (Charles), Edward Baxter (Lisa), Gala Wilkerson, and Kala Wilkerson. She was blessed to have 22 greatgrandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Aline's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
