Willie Milton Pennington, 91

CELINA– Funeral Service for Willie Milton Pennington, age 91 of Celina, Tennessee were held 1 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Upton Funeral Home with Shane Smith officiating interment to follow in the Doc Hall Cemetery.

Willie Milton passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Willie Milton Pennington was born November 15, 1922 in Clay County, Tennessee to Grover Cleveland Pennington and Ethel Mae (Abney) Pennington. He married Dora Christine (Clinton) Pennington on July 30, 1946 .  He was a farmer and affiliated with the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dora Pennington of Celina; daughter, Janie Smith of Moss, Mildred (Frank) Cirrincione of Hendersonville, TN., Patsy Gannon of Celina and Mary Pennington of Tompkinsville, KY.; 5 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Paul Tom, Ralph, Mitchell, George, Billy Wayne, Johnny and James Earl Pennington; sisters, Anna Penrod, Mary Mabry and Opal Martin

Serving as pallbearers were: Nick Patterson, Todd Strong, Frank Cirrincione, Johnny Young, Estus Pennington and Thomas Gannon
