Mrs. Wanda Jean Strong, age 83, of Moss, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020, at Macedonia Cemetery. John Ford will officiate and burial will follow. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home, on Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. There will be no visitation at the funeral home on Friday, prior to the graveside service. All are invited to attend the graveside service at Macedonia Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020.

Wanda was the daughter of the late, Edward and Bessie (Rich) McAlpin. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by 1 son, Thomas Strong and 1 sister. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed raising a garden, planting flowers and going to yard sales but her greatest pleasure was found in spending time with her adoring husband and treasured children and grandchildren. She spent most of her adult career in the manufacturing industry as a factory worker.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Malcom; 2 sons, Tim Strong of Lebanon, KY and Jim Strong and wife, Nina of Moss, TN; 1 daughter, Brenda Cherry, and husband, Odell also of Moss, TN; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; special friends, Larry and Bonnie Denton and the marble players who have become more like family; as well as many other friends and neighbors who mourn her passing.
