Mrs. Veachel Pennington, age 78, of Celina, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral with Robert Cox officiating.

She was born on June 21, 1944, to the late Robert and Versie (Beechboard) Cox. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Aaron Pennington; grandson, Brandon Langford; brothers, Shirley Cox, Bobby Cox, and Eugene Cox; sister, Cleo Cox.

She is survived by her daughters, Darlene (John) Coffindaffer, Daphine (Ackie B) Roach, and Marlene (Bruce) Rhoton; grandchildren, Grace Blackmon, Alex Roach, Ayla Rhoton, Cody Rhoton, and Raven Dulworth; great-grandchildren, Baylon Langford, Willow Dulworth, Beaux Rhoton, Jensen McDaniel, Aiden Roach, Elijah Roach, and Sophie Gomez; sisters, Dimple Lee, and Avo Hall; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.
