Thomas Foster Strong, 56

MOSS– Funeral Services for Thomas Foster Strong, age 56, of Moss will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Upton Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Stinson, Bro. Paul Strong, and Bro. Jason Arterburn officiating, interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 am. until service time at 2:00 pm. Saturday at Upton Funeral Home.

Thomas Strong passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

He was born February 20, 1958 in Monroe County, Kentucky to Malcolm and Wanda Jean (McAlpin) Strong. He was employed at A-Pace and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Moss.

He was married on July 13, 2010 to Greta Sue Hale.

Thomas is survived by his parents, Malcolm and Wanda Strong of Moss, wife, Greta Strong of Moss, son, Kristofer Strong of Moss, daughter, Amy (Danny) O'Neill of Cookeville, brothers, Tim L. Strong and Jim D. (Nina) Strong of Moss, sister, Brenda (Odell) Cherry of Moss, step-sons, John (Kristen) Page of Georgetown, KY, and Tyler McMillan of Tompkinsville, KY, and 5 grandchildren, Rylan and Colin O'Neill, Hayden and Landon Strong, and Archie Page.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made toward the funeral expenses by contacting the office of the Upton Funeral Home.
