Ms. Thelma Mitchell, age 82, of Moss, TN, passed away at the Celina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Celina, TN on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, surrounded by her adoring family.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, August 10 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Thelma is survived by 2 sons, Ronnie Smith and Donnie Smith both of Indianapolis, IN; 2 daughters, Connie Poindexter and husband, Rick, and Wannie Craighead and husband, David, all of Moss, TN; 2 brothers, Delmer Jenkins and Delmous Jenkins and wife, Louise, all of Celina, TN; 1 sister, Delma Crawford of Celina, TN; 8 grandchildren, Mandy Fox, Wendy Madon, Shaun Short, Lee Craighead, Amber Netherton, Jeremiah Smith, Christopher Smith and Dustin Smith; 8 great-grandchildren, Gabbi and Sterling Fox, Lyra, Gatlin and Lawson Craighead, Kaylynn Short, Brooke and Seth Madon as well as many other friends and neighbors who mourn her passing.
