Mrs. Teressa Hayes, age 59, of Celina, TN, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral Home with Greg Watson officiating and interment to follow in the Roach-Short Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, January 21, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Shannon) Hayes; daughter Alicia Hayes Chambers; brothers, Roger Short and Gary (Spark) Short; sisters, Nina Watson Hull, Robbie better known as Tincy (Ray) Williams, Wanda (Bill) Marcom, Dorothy Burchett (Ira) Forney, Brenda (Eldon) Davis, Joyce Short; grandchildren, Aliyah and Hailey Chambers, Jaden and Landon Oliver, Madison, Ethan and Evan Hayes, Steven, Savannah, Seth, and Shelby (Lou) Richards; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.

Family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the expense of the service.
