Ms. Sylvia Gean Holt age 77 of Plainfield, IN and formerly of Celina, TN passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Grant Pennington and Bruce Taylor will officiate and interment will follow in the McDonald Cemetery. Visitation will be at Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from, 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Sylvia is survived by 1 son, Garland M. Holt and wife, Michelle of Martinsville, IN; 2 daughters, Tamie Greenwood of Celina, TN and Tonya Holt Scott of Celina, TN; 6 grandchildren, Chance Mills, Trinity Weddle, Nichole Ledbetter, Chase Scott, Jared Holt and Braylynn Holt; 10 great-grandchildren, Austin Goad, Brooke Goad, Dalton Goad, Emma Goad, Macy Weddle, Megan Weddle, Layne Mills, Hunter Ledbetter, Mia Ledbetter and Cole Ledbetter; a special cousin, Wilma Davis of Celina, TN and several half brothers and half-sisters as well as a host of other relatives and friends who also mourn her passing.
