Mr. Shelby S. Nolan, age 82, of Livingston, TN passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Upton Hay Funeral Home with Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Internment to follow in the Doc Hall Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service.

The family request that anyone attending wear face covering.

Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice.

Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.

Shelby is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Trina) Nolan, Harold (Loretta) Nolan, Kenneth (Jessebil) Nolan; daughters, Vivian (Thomas) Spearman, and Martha (Charles) Edens; sister, Pat Poston; 12 grandchildren, Amy Campbell, Elizabeth Cissell, Kevin Nolan, Ashley Spearman, Jennifer Nolan, Ryan Nolan, Olivia Gooden, Tarrah Conner, Ron Cochran, Katherine Nolan, Selina Edens, and Kaiden Nolan; 15 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Campbell, Kayla Cissell, Steven Cissell, Jr., Peyton Woodard, Dylan Woodard, Summer Cochran, Karter Nolan, Kenlie Nolan, Delia Gooden, Ryker Gooden, William Jones, Luna Jones, Suzanne Jones, Jackson Campbell, and Sierra Contee; great-great grandchild, Kayden Reel; as well as a host of friends and neighbors who also mourn his passing.
