Ms. Ruth Hamilton Parsons, age 85 of Celina, TN passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home.  Luke Collins and Kenny Westmoreland will officiate and interment will follow in the Fitzgerald  Cemetery. Visitation will be at Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 a.m until 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Ruth is survived by brothers, William Bedford (Billy) Hamilton, Charles Mitchell Hamilton and wife Mary Ann, and Kenneth Edward Hamilton and wife Linda; special niece Paula Boone and husband Brandon and special nephew, Jason Hamilton and wife Rhonda, nephews James Hamilton and wife Donna, and Chris Hamilton; niece Susie Beason and husband James all of Celina. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews as well as a host of cousins and friends.
