CELINA– Funeral Services for Ruby Mae Burris, 99 of Celina will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home.

Ruby Mae Burris passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Celina Health and Rehabilitation in Celina, Tennessee.

Ruby Mae Burris was born December 15, 1912 to the late Willie & Rilda (Carmack) Boles. Ruby married the late Raymond Burris on April 1, 1928 in Jackson County.  Ruby was a restaurant owner and operator in Celina.

She is survived by Sons & daughters-in-law, Roy E. (Faye) Burris of Murfreesboro, TN, and Clifton (Frankie) Burris of Celina, TN, Daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda (Buddy) Thompson and Sandy (Dock) Short of Celina, TN, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
