Oma Lea Brady

Mrs. Oma Brady, age 77, of Whitleyville, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at her residence.

Cremation was chosen to honor her wishes. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.

Oma was born in Clay County, TN on Friday, July 17, 1949, to the late James and Edith (Vaughn) Crawford. In addition to her parents, Oma was preceded in death by her spouse, Cedric Brady; son, Christopher Brady; siblings, James Neal Crawford, Thurman Lee Crawford, Louann Dycus, and Willa Dean Smith.

She was a homemaker after OshKosh closed. When she was able, she enjoyed reading and caring for others. In later years, watching TV was her choice of enjoyment.

She is survived her daughter, Melissa Brady Norris; grandchild, Zane Brady Norris; sister, Wilma Devore; as wel1 as a host of friends and neighbors who mourn her passing.
