Ned Thomas (Tony) Cherry, age 84 of the Oak Grove Community of Clay County, TN passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 after an extended illness at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Funeral Services for Ned Thomas (Tony) Cherry will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home.  Tim McHenry will officiate and interment will follow in the Henson Cemetery in Celina, TN.

Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Tony is survived by his wife, Wanda (Watson) Cherry, 2 sons, Steve Cherry and wife, Cindy, Marvin Cherry and wife, Susie, and 1 daughter, Donna Nolen all of the Oak Grove Community of Clay County, TN. 4 grandchildren, Brandon Birdwell, Jessica Gregory, Brooke Cherry and Patrick Cherry and 5 great-grandchildren, Abram Cherry, Tatum Webb, Landon Birdwell, Lena Birdwell and Ayden Cherry as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
