Moss, Tennessee – Funeral Services for Mell Lee Head 80 of Moss, Tennessee will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Paul Strong officiating. Mr. Mell Lee Head passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee. He was born December 13, 1931 in Gainesboro, Tennessee to the late Bethel Fay and Lovie Mai (Howell) Head. Mell married Susie Marie Edwards November 21, 1953. He was a retired self-employed photographer. Mell was preceded in death by his parents; wife and sister, Faye Bell. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Greg Stearns of Sadieville, KY.; brothers, Bill Head of Moss, Harold Head and Ross Head both of Indianapolis, IN.; sisters, Kaye Maxwell and Judy Crouch both of Indianapolis, IN.; Grandchildren, Justin Stearns and Laura (Stearns) Long; great grandchildren, Emma Ray and Cora Grace Stearns and Noah Russell Long.
