Lillian Chitwood White age 83 of Moss, TN passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2015 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY. She was born November 7, 1932 to the late Weaver Chitwood and Alta Tade Chitwood. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, James Dale White, Sr.   She was a retired school teacher with the Clay County Public Schools. Lillian was an active member of the Moss Church of Christ.

Funeral Services for Lillian Chitwood White will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home .  Brother Dennis Miller and Dr. Jerry Bean will officiate. Interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery .

Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. & Friday, after 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home .

She is survived by her son, James Dale White, Jr. and wife Jada of Moss, TN and 4 grandchildren, Emily Jane White, Ellianna Beth White, Tabor Dale White, Lillie Glee White and step-grandson, Justin Marshall all of Moss, TN. She is also survived by a host of friends.
