Mr. Johnnie Smith, age 91, of Moss, TN passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The Upton Hay Funeral Home with Elijah Smith and Jimmy Lynn Smith officiating and interment to follow in the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He is survived by his sons, Billy Gene Smith (Shirley), Mitchell Dewayne Smith; daughters, Linda Lou Smith Crowe (Larry), Loretta Sue Smith, Freeda Lorene Smith Garrett (Leon Hampton), Charolette Ann Smith (Charles); grandchildren, Reynaldo Mendez Smith, Hunter Montgomery, Zoe Madison, step-granddaughter, Maeley Marie Hampton; sisters, Dovie Netherton, Josephine Smith; brother, Bazz Ray Smith (Brenda); as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
