John Tom "J.T." Likens, 77

Union Hill Community– Funeral Services for John Tom "J.T." Likens, 77 of the Union Hill Community of Clay Co., Tennessee will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Kendall Cemetery in Clay County, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday at Upton Funeral Home.

Mr. Likens passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

John Tom Likens was born April 10, 1935 in Clay Co., Tennessee to the late Tommy and Mandy Belle (Jones) Likens. J.T. married the former Buna Collins. J.T. was a saw mill worker at Green Forest Wood Product. J.T. was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Carlos, Rab, Lester, Rex, Willis, & Gerald Likens, Sisters, Ermma Likens and Ruby Gentry.

He is survived by his wife, Buna Likens of Union Hill, Daughters, Rachel (David) Landreth of Gordonsville, Tennessee, Hannah Lambert of Gainesboro, Tennessee, Brothers, Dalton and Dumas Likens of Union Hill, Tennessee, Sisters, Sue Cherry and Kat Franklin of Union Hill, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
