Mr. Jimmy Lewis Philpott, age 80, of Celina, TN passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Cookeville Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay funeral home with Bobby Bartlett officiating and interment to follow in the Freehill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 5, 2021 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday March 6, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

The family request that anyone attending wear face covering.

Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice.

Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Georgia Philpott; daughter, Shirley (Carlie) Whitlow; 3 brothers, Tony Graves, Freddy Moody, and Perry Graves; 3 sister, Lela Campbell, Bertie Hurdle, and Melanie Kirk; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, special daughters and grandchildren, along with many wonderful friends and neighbors who also mourn his passing.
