James Walker Davis, 79

CELINA– Funeral Services for James Walker Davis, age 79 of Celina will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the James W. Davis Family Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN. Visitation 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday & 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Upton Funeral Home.

James Walker Davis passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

He was born December 14, 1933 in Clay County, TN to the late John Bedford and Lora Lee (Stone) Davis. James was a farmer and a member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ.

He is survived by his Wife: Bonnie (Tinsley) Davis of Celina, TN, Son: Travis (Mickie) Davis of Hilham, TN. Daughters:  Debra Jean (Robert) Craighead of Moss, TN & Tammie Jeanette Robbins of Celina. Brother, Andrew Thomas (Joyce) Davis of Celina & 6 Grandchildren, Kayla Denise Davis, James Travis Davis Jr., Joshua Creighton Davis, James Matthew (Amanda) Craighead, Bonnie Jo Craighead & Lora Katherine Robbins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Henry, Bedford Arnold & Frank Matthew Davis, sisters, Fannie Olyne Jones, Opal Adeniza Boone, Nina Elise Davis & Betty Jean Davis.
