Mr. James Lowry Butler, age 74, of Celina, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, in Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17 in the chapel of the Upton-Hay Funeral home with Tim Prestridge officiating and internment to follow in the Fitzgerald Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.

James is survived by his spouse, Donna (Gentry) Butler; 3 sons, Jonathan, Joshua, and Jacob Butler; 4 step daughters, Kelly Williams, Amy (Tim) Prestridge, Christy Busby (Nathan) Kimball, Shannon Busby; 12 grandchildren, Arden Butler, Devon Butler, Jayme Potter, McKenna Powe, Sarah Prestridge, Hannah Claire Prestridge, Emilee (Eddie) Geier, Tucker Prestridge, Aiden Jack Freel, Ezra Oakley James Butler, Eliana Susan Nicole Butler, and Maddie Grant; 2 great grandchildren, Madeline Geier, and Aston Potter ; as well as host of friends and neighbors who also mourn his passing.

The family request that all visitors wear mask and practice social distancing.
