Isabel Cummins, 96

CELINA– Funeral Services for Isabel Cummins, age 96 of Celina will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 14, 2014 at Upton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday & 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday at Upton Funeral Home.

Isabel Cummins passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Isabel Sheperson was born November 17, 1917 in Mercer County, KY to the late John Leslie and Addie Beatrice (Owens) Sheperson. She was married to the late David Lee Cummins on October 13, 1939. He preceded her in death on January 08, 1978.  Isabel was a homemaker and owner of the Wildwood Fishing Camp in Celina, TN. She was a long time member of the Celina Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Buddy Leslie Cummins, Brothers, Sam D., Robert, and Wallace Leslie Sheperson, Sisters, Loraine Burns and Sadie J. Carey, Daughter-in-Law, Wanda Cummins, and Son-in-Law, William T. Wade.

She is survived by:

Sons: Ronald Lee Cummins of Pinellas Park, FL, Dallas Odell and Betty Cummins of Fort Myers, FL, Jerry "Mousy" and Gail Cummins of Celina, TN, Daughters:  Sandra June Wade of  Harrodsburg, KY and Deborah Renee (Eric) Copeland of Celina, Sister, Mollie Sue Carey of Lexington, KY, Daughter-in-law, Sheila Cummins, 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, her special caregiver, Amber Copeland also survive.
