CELINA– Funeral Services for Howard Reeves "Posey" Young age 82 of Celina will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Butler's Landing Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Upton Funeral Home

Howard Reeves "Posey" Young passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Howard Reeves "Posey" Young was born August 13, 1930 to the late Winton Herbert & Flora Florene (Lynch) Young. Posey married Velma Louise Smith on May 25, 1951. Posey was a Veteran in the Marine Corp of the Korean War.  Posey was a retired car dealer for 25 years in Celina.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Velma Louise (Smith) Young, Son & daughter-in-law, Winton (Casey) Young of Celina, TN, daughter, Myra (Jeff) Miller of Smithville, TN and 4 grandchildren, Dylan Young, Harrison Young, Reeves Beller and Delaney Johnson and 2 Great Grandchildren

The family requests in lieu of flowers that any memorial contributions be made to the Butler's Landing Cemetery. You can make contributions to the cemetery by visiting the office of Upton Funeral Home.
