CELINA– Funeral Services for Hosea O. Tucker, 81 of Celina will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Sgt. Robert Wesley Tucker Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home

Hosea Tucker passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at his residence in Celina, Tennessee.

Hosea O. Tucker was born January 28, 1931 in Ohio Co., Kentucky to the late Emmett & Beeda (Embry) Tucker. Hosea married Saraphine Daniel on December 6, 1960. Hosea was a veteran in U.S. Army of the Korean War.  Hosea was a minister at the Hestand Church of Christ

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sarahphene Tucker, Sons & daughters-in-law, Darrell (Jamie) Tucker of Gainesboro, TN and Ted (Kim) Tucker of Hilham, daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda Marie (Raymond) Smith of Cookeville, TN & Carolyn Sue Rhoton of Celina, TN, brothers, R.J. Tucker of Knoxville, TN, Junior, Derard, Tommy, and Donald Tucker of Louisville, KY, sisters, Lorene Smith & Gean Thomas of Louisville, KY and Vergie Galloway of Knoxville, KY  and 9 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Elvie Tucker, sisters, Evelyn & Irene Tucker, and Lora Laverne Pierce.

Serving as pallbears were: Darrell Tucker, Ted Tucker, Cody Rhoton, Kip Scott, Joe Boles, R. J. Tucker, and James Daniel.
