MOSS– Funeral Services for Homer York, 60 of Moss will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 09, 2013 from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Jason Smith officiating. The interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Upton Funeral Home.

Homer York passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his residence in Moss, Tennessee.

Homer York was born May 15, 1953 in Clay Co., Tennessee to the late Cortez and Ova Edith (Dodson) York. Homer was a Saw Mill Worker at Anderson Forest Products and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

He is survived by, daughters, Felicia Meador of Red Boiling Springs & Melanie Tirjan of Lafayette, brothers, Domer York of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Freeman, David, and Rexel (Linda) York of Moss, TN, Sisters: Dimple (Roy) Westmoreland, Dean (Amon) Kendall, Cola York, and Reba (Wayne) Smith all of Moss, TN and friend, Bryan Beck of Moss, TN.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Eldon Carlton York and sister Daffo May Adams

Serving as pallbearers were: Bryan Beck, Brandon Davis, Paul Wayne White, Mark Davis, JT Coe, Billy Kendall, and Alvin York.
