Mr. Harmie Thompson, age 77, of Celina, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Upton Hay Funeral Home with Willie Kerr officiating and interment to follow in the Thompson Webb Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He was born on Thursday, January 10, 1946, to the late Dennis and Dollie (Anderson) Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Thompson; brothers, Fred, Nevelle, and Ned Thompson; sisters, Opal, Davis and Annie Sherrell.

He is survived by his spouse, Anna Ruth Thompson; sons, Gary, Jamie, Michael, and Brian Thompson; grandchildren, Makali Keen (Dylan), Taylor Thompson, and Gavin Watson; great-grandson, Jayce Keen; brother, Kent Thompson (Irene); sisters, Martha Rush (Lawrence) and Carolyn Kennedy (Bob); as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
