Mr. Gene Audory Smith, age 82, of Celina, TN passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Celina Health & Rehabilitation Center in Celina, TN.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Welch's Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at which time procession will leave the funeral home.

Note: All gatherings of ten (10) or more should be postponed, and/or only conducted with a limit of ten (10) or less people.  Graveside services should be private and conducted with ten (10) or fewer people. This information is subject to change per recommendation by the Federal Government and CDC.

Absolutely NO food allowed in the funeral home until further notice. Social distancing will be practiced and no touching is encouraged.

Gene is survived by 1 son, Danny Smith of Celina, TN; 2 daughters, Lisa Rich, and husband, Chris of Celina, TN; Gina Key and husband, Stevie of Celina, TN; 8 grandchildren, Jason Smith, Brooke Wix and husband, Dustin, Dustin Rich and wife, Whitney, Matthew Rich, Addison Rich, Megan Volk and husband, Robert, Cole Key, and Madison Key; 8 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends who also mourn his passing.
