Freda Karen King, 55

CELINA– Funeral Services for Freda Karen King, 55 of Celina will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Grover C. Rich Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Upton Funeral Home.

Freda Karen King passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her residence in Celina, Tennessee.

Freda King was born November 30, 1957 in Clay County, Tennessee to James Mackey and Martha Ann (Rich) Strong. Freda married Joseph Darrell King on October 21, 1988. She was a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ and was a local restaurant owner.

Freda was preceded in death by her son, Jason Glenn Cunningham

She is survived by her parents, James and Martha Strong of Celina; husband, Joseph Darrel King of Celina; sons, Dr. Jeffery Cunningham of Memphis, Tennessee and Jason Andrew King of Celina; daughter, Larissa Dawn (Josh) Key of Celina; brothers, Donald (Patsy) Strong of Celina, James Ronald (Cindy) Strong of Baxter, Tennessee and Ricky Edwin Strong of Gainesboro; Special Children, Samuel and Elizabeth Goney and grandson, Noah Bradlee Key
