Mr. Ezra "Wallace" Short, age 90, of Moss, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Dr. Fowler Ross officiating and interment to follow in the Pitcock Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He was born on Sunday, November 18, 1934, to the late Estil and Mildred (Mabry) Short. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Reba Crowder Short; brothers, Willas Short and Jack Short; sister, Inez Short; and step-son Travis Davis.

He is survived by his spouse, Janice Short; sons, Michael (Lisa) Short, and Randy Short; daughter, Rhonda Short; step-son, Tracy Davis; step-daughters, Trinette (Jimi) Wix, and Tabitha Davis; 6 grandchildren, Wendy, Shaun, VanEric, Kyle, Kayla, and Erica; 7 step-grandchildren, Maddy, Amber, Bret, Brent, Brittany, Kesha, Kara; and many great grandchildren; brother, Leeman Short; sisters, Joyce Edwards, Virginia Brown, Hazel Bray, and Loudean West; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
