Mrs. Evelyn Birdwell, age 94, of the Hermitage Springs Community, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel Upton Hay Funeral Home with Kevin Donaldson officiating and interment to follow in the W.J. Cherry Family Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She is survived by her son, Jerry (Jane) Birdwell of Goodlettsville, TN; brother, Noel (Vickie) Cherry of Cookeville, TN; sister, Anita Jones of Celina, TN; grandchildren, Neil (Jessica) Birdwell of Knoxville, TN, and Michael (Phil) Birdwell of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Rachel Taylor, Kristen Taylor, Forrest Moore, Perrin Birdwell, and Brynn Birdwell;  as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.

The Upton-Hay Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Evelyn Birdwell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the W.J. Cherry Cemetery Fund.
