Celina– Funeral Services for Estus Ezell Nevans, 87 of Celina will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Ezell Nevans Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Upton Funeral Home

Mr. Nevans passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Estus Ezell Nevans was born February 19, 1926 in Clay Co., Tennessee to the late Sam and Lena (Watson) Nevans. Ezell married Wilma Dean Beason on May 3, 1952. Ezell was a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ, owner and founder of Celina Lumber Company in 1962, and a veteran of WW II.  He was preceded in death by his siblings: Brownie Young, Ann Dalton, Paul Nevans, Phelmon Nevins, Foy Joe Nevans, and Joy Elizabeth Burnette.

He is survived by his wife: Wilma Nevans of Celina, TN, sons: Danny (Teresa) Nevans of Celina, TN and Gary (Donna) Nevans of Moss, TN, grandchildren: Lorissa (Chatt) Holaway, Leigh (Adam) Shaull, and Savannah Nevans, and great-grandchildren: Sonni and Roland Holaway & Abigal and Annabelle Shaull.

Serving as pallbearers were: Billy Burnette, Randall Gray, Chatt Holaway, Adam Shaull, Jim Young, and Clay Young.
