Emmadean Cook, 83

MT. JUILET– Funeral Services for Emmadean Cook, 83 of Mt. Juliet,  will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 04, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Donaldson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 8:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Upton Funeral Home.

Ms. Cook passed away on Tuesday, October 01, 2013 at her residence in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Emmadean Duke was born April 15, 1930 in Overton Co., Tennessee to the late Robert Sidney and Cora Mae (Pryor) Duke. Emmadean was married to the late Dillard Eugene Cook on March 04, 1949, who preceded her in death on October 04, 1999. Emmadean was affiliated with the Church of Christ and worked in revenue with the State of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son: Mickey Roy Cook, brothers: Arleth and Robert Duke, sisters: Christine Farmer and Annette Gilpatrick.

She is survived by sisters: Billie Matheny, Sonja Watkins, and Linda Patterson all of Tennessee and Betty Brown of Michigan, brothers: Earl and Charles Duke of Tennessee and James Duke of Georgia.
