Elbert Aaron Brown passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his residence in Moss, TN.

He was born April 19, 1934 in Moss, TN to the late Luke Brown and Cora (Craighead) Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Plumlee) Brown, brothers, Fiddler Brown, Tom Brown, Robert Brown and Biggin Brown and sisters, Pat Turner and Lou Melton. He married Frances Plumlee on April 22, 1952 and there were four children from their loving union. He was a self-employed logger. He was also a man who never knew a stranger and adored children.

Sons & Daughters-in-law:  Danny & Tamara Brown of Des Plaines, IL and Stacy & T.J. Brown of Moss, TN

Daughters & Sons-in-law: Deb & Larry Sigears of Murfreesboro, TN and Sherry & Arnold Holman of Lascassas, TN.

Sister: Iva Dean Eads

6 Grandchildren: Christy Rhoton of Smyna, TN, Amy Sigears of Murfreesboro, TN, James Aaron Brown and wife Crystal of Antioch, TN, Wesley Holman of Lascassas, TN, Lorie Boyd and husband Brian of Murfreesboro, TN, Lucas Brown of Moss, TN and Brittney Brown of Moss, TN. 9 great-grandchildren  and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pitcock Cemetery.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
