Moss– Funeral Services for Edna Adelaide (Melton) Burchett, 86 of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Moss, TN will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Upton Funeral Home in Celina, TN with Brother Paul "Cricket" Strong officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Overton County, TN. Visitation 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday August 18, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home. Fred Melton, George Melton, Jerry Melton, Terry Meadows, Tony & Jeff Burchett served as pallbearers. Edna Adelaide (Melton) Burchett passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at her residence in Greenwood, IN. She was born February 27, 1926 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late William Thomas "Tom" Melton and Sarah Perlina Davis. Edna graduated high school, attended Tennessee Tech and taught school until moving to Indiana in the 60's and worked at NAPA Balkamp till she retired in 1990. She is survived by her sons, Tony (wife, Pam), and Jeff (wife, Julie), and her grandchildren whom she adored, Courtney, Cara, Ryder, Maggie, and Brock, and her beloved Bassett Hound, Nellie as well as her numerous extended relatives whom she cherished. She was preceded in death by siblings, Herman Talmage Melton, Cecil Charlie Melton, Joe Thomas Melton, Auda A. "Audie" Melton, Benjamin Ray "Ben" Melton, Jewel Melton, Pauline Charbaneau, Jonathon Davis "J.D. Melton, Seraphine M. Nelson, Clara Parker Melton, Sula B.
