In Memory Of

Mr. Eddie R. Rich Sr., age 72, of Livingston, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Cage Rich Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He was born on Friday, January 8, 1954, to the late Dolly (Cox) and Franklin Rich. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Tony; siblings, Rhonda York, Connie Langford, Danny Rich, and Ronald “Goober” Rich.

Eddie drove a truck most of his life. Spent a lot of time and many miles away from home. He enjoyed working on vehicles in his spare time when he was able.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Rich, Steve Rich, and Edie R. Rich Jr.; daughters, Glenda Jo Stacy, and Jenny Cox; 14 grandchildren; sister, Shelia Lee; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.
