Mr. David Dyer, age 63, of the Mt.Vernon Community passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Macon Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with John Davis officiating and interment to follow in the Mt.Vernon Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, November 10, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

He is survived by his spouse, Cheryl Dyer; daughter, Jessica Dyer; grandsons, Caden, Gavin, Devin, and Aaron; niece, Tara Asberry; brother-in-law, Ellis Hicks; sister-in-law, Monica Asberry; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn his passing.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made toward the expense of the funeral.
