HILHAM– Funeral Services for Danny Rellon Petty, 53 of Hilham will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with Shane Hammock officiating interment to follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday at Upton Funeral Home

Danny Rellon Petty passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee.

He was born August 31, 1959 in Cookeville, TN to the late Rellon Carr Petty and Dottie Evelyn (Allen) Petty who survives and lives in Cookeville, TN. Danny married Penny Ann Cox on April 18, 1987 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was a Supervisor for Hanson International and a member of the Antioch Pentecostal Church.

Other than his mother he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Penny (Cox) Petty, son, Adam Gilpatrick,  daughters, Mary Marcea Petty all of Hilham & Rachel & Jonathon Grogan of Celina, sister, Jennie (Gary) Burgess of Cookeville, 3  grandchildren: Kenira Hammock, Trent Rellon Grogan, & Christopher Grogan. Father & Mother-in-Law, Shirley & Earline Cox of Hilham, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Robert (Jill) Cox, Robbie (Randall) Allen, & Sharon (Gary) Langford, nephews, James, Jordan, & Jacob Burgess & Jacob Warren, nieces, Chasity (Zach) Harold, Martha Poindexter, Anna McLerran, & Lacey Cox, 1 great niece, & 3 great nephews. The family requests that memorial contributions made to help with funeral expenses.
